Don’t do what’s wrong,
Only what’s right,
Don’t be a meany,
Because I only want nice,
Don’t be so impatient,
You must learn to be still,
Don’t try my patience,
Because smack you I will,
Don’t laugh at me,
I can laugh back,
Don’t crawl on the sidewalk,
Don’t step on the cracks,
Don’t act so goofy,
In front of my friends,
Don’t be so boring,
Don’t EVER do that again,
Don’t even try that,
You’ll just get hurt,
Don’t step on the cat,
Don’t play with the dirt,
Don’t act so obnoxious,
Not here,
Not now,
Don’t go over there,
Don’t play pirates,
That’s not a fun game,
Don’t play lions either,
I hate how you maim,
Don’t pick your nose,
And don’t you DARE eat it,
Don’t cuss in front of me,
I hate how you bleep it,
Don’t play policeman,
You can’t go patrolling,
And please, please, please,
Don’t be so CONTROLLING!
Says my sister to me,
But I just glare, keep on walking,
And frostily respond,
“Look who’s talking!”
All the stuff you y I shouldn't do I do.
ReplyDeleteI suppose so... I guess I'm the more obedient one (at times). Do you like the poem?
